Since I was a child, I've been always loving nature and I was a proud and enthusiastic owner of numerous photo books on the subject of nature. Back in 2010 I began with photography.At the moment, my photographic focus is on pet, macro and wildlife photography - above all, strictly protected species like European ground ground squirrels and European hamsters.I'm a proud half of the project Fairytale Nature Photography, ambassador for SIGMA Austria, passionate about writing articles for journals, supporting wildlife conservation projects, running photo workshops, enthusiastically shooting pets and being a jury member of international photo contests - for example FOTONOJA 2018 (link) or Photocrowd (link).Tracy Calder for Amateur Photographer Magazine: "This romantic approach is evident in all of Perdita’s work, regardless of subject matter. … Looking at her work, it’s clear that much of this fairytale vibe comes from the beautiful backgrounds she creates: leaves, grasses and flowers are recorded as wonderful washes of colour. … While she may call her work romantic and fairytale-like there is nothing light or insubstantial about Perdita’s pictures: they are bold, uplifting, and beautiful."
