These wildflowers belong to a species of Paepalanthus found in the Chapada dos Veadeiros region of Brazil.Their shape is re- miniscent of fireworks, making them one of my favorite subjects for photography. At night, they become even more impressive when lit by a lantern and aligned with the arc of the Milky Way above. After several attempts, I finally managed to capture these flowers in the absence of wind, avoiding blur du- ring the long exposure.
