Pipistrello dal Nettare
I took this photo of an Orange Nectar Bat (Glossophaga soricina) in Costa Rica. For the lighting I used three fla- shes to stop the movement of the animal as it flew over the banana flower in the middle of the night to suck the nectar. It is a small bat of about 60 mm in length, with soft, thick fur, on which hundreds of tropical plants de- pend for their pollination.
